Every time the temperature drops in winter, the hot milk coffee production rate of the Front Street store will be greatly increased, including latte, cappuccino, Australian white and so on. Comparing two other classic drinks,Australian white coffeeIt can be regarded as a "new Internet celebrity" in recent years. Most friends know this drink through chain brands such as Starbucks or Luckin. In the menus of these stores, it will be called Fuli Bai,Oribai。
OribaiWhat kind of coffee is it?
Flat White originates from New Zealand and Australia, and Australians call it Flat White. Before the 1970s, Australian coffee shops used methods such as French presses and manual drip filters to brew black coffee. In the early 1970s, the Italians brought espresso machines to Australia, officially starting a new wave of coffee trends.

It is said that the birth of Oruibai was because the barista accidentally made the milk foam too thin when making a cup of hot milk coffee, but he still insisted on making it. Unexpectedly, customers liked this coffee drink with thin milk foam very much. Later, people named it Flat White based on the liquid level that was flush with the cup.
The original intention of the birth of Oruibai is to hope that when everyone takes a drink, they can drink the perfect combination of milk foam and coffee milk underneath. Only when the milk foam is very dense and thin, and the temperature of the milk coffee is slightly lower, can you drink the milk foam in every mouthful, and drink it up quickly before the milk foam separates. Therefore, when making Oruibai, you must first have super dense milk foam, and secondly, the milk foam should not be too thick, the milk temperature should be moderate and the cup size should be small.

OribaiThe base is espresso
The espresso coffee produced by Front Street is the "Sunflower Warm Blend" roasted in-house, which is a combination of 70% Honduran sherry coffee and 30% Yirgacheffe sun-dried red cherry coffee. The whiskey, vanilla, and cream flavors of sherry are combined with the tropical fruits and fermentation of red cherries, giving the coffee in the cup a rich and soft taste. Front Street retains the characteristics of small cup size, thin milk foam, and double espresso as the base for its Fuli Bai.

Espresso Ristretto means "restricted" in Italian. Espresso can be regarded as a "restricted" version of espresso, that is, only the front and middle portion of Espresso is taken. Since most of the espresso coffee in the store is based on Espresso, FrontStreet Coffee baristas use the standard extracted Espresso as a reference before opening. The extraction plan of each coffee bean will be slightly different. This extraction plan is the extraction parameters adjusted by the barista before opening every day. It is based on the Nuanyang blending used in the store.
Front Street Espresso extraction plan: 20 grams of coffee powder extracts 40 grams of coffee liquid, which takes 28 to 30 seconds. The Ristretto does not change the grinding degree and powder volume. It can also be used to extract 20 grams of coffee powder and 27 grams of coffee liquid in 20 to 25 seconds. Since Ristretto only has the front and middle portion of espresso, the concentration will be higher than Espresso, the taste will be stronger, the caffeine content will be less, and the flavor will show more intense berry acidity, wine aroma and caramel flavor.

Pour the extracted coffee liquid into a cup with a capacity of about 200ml prepared in advance, and pour 150ml of milk into the milk jug to beat. Whipping milk requires less air intake than latte coffee, and the foam layer is thinner and denser. The temperature is best controlled at 55 to 60 degrees Celsius, which makes it easier to drink. Finally, mix the whipped milk evenly into the coffee liquid, and you can use it as a stir-fry or not. Front Street's Ao Rui White displays the aroma of vanilla, cream, chocolate milk, whiskey-filled chocolate, and the sour and sweet berries. It has a mellow and mellow mouthfeel and a long-lasting aftertaste.
Which one tastes better, Aurore Blanc or cappuccino?
Friends who often drink milk coffee should have noticed that the three common drinks of Italian white, hot latte and cappuccino are only composed of espresso and whipped hot milk, but they have different tastes, textures and shapes.

Usually the thickness of the milk foam is the main reference factor for us to distinguish Orui White from other milk coffees. The cappuccino produced by the barista is made with a cup of espresso coffee liquid and thick milk foam. It is usually in the shape of a 1 to 2cm thick "hamburger". Before drinking the coffee liquid, you must first inhale the foam. The milk foam of latte coffee will be thinner, about 0.5cm thick, so you can enjoy the fusion taste of coffee liquid and milk foam with every sip.
In order to better drink the coffee liquid and emphasize the smooth and smooth "velvet" texture, the milk foam of Oruibai is the thinnest. Some baristas hope that the Australian white they produce will not be affected by the taste of fat, and even filter out the milk foam layer, leaving only the coffee liquid. Therefore, there was no fixed numerical indicator in the early days as to how thin the milk foam layer should be. As this drink becomes more and more popular, in order to distinguish it from regular hot latte and cappuccino, the thickness of the thin milk foam of Orui White is defined to be about 0.3cm~0.5cm.

Front Street believes that everyone has unique preferences for coffee, so there is no one who is better, just choose the type of coffee you like. If you want a balanced taste of coffee and milk, you can choose a hot latte; if you want to drink the full aroma of coffee beans, it is recommended to order a cup of Oris white coffee; if you want a rich coffee flavor and the taste of thick milk foam, cappuccino is perfect.
