An introductory tutorial on how to make Front Street Pour over(V60) coffee
When it comes to coffee beans, they can be simply divided into light roast, medium roast and heavy roast. Coffee cherries are actually like fruits. Good coffee beans will have fruity, floral, cocoa, nutty flavors, etc. Generally, the lighter the roast, the heavier the sourness, and the more you can drink the essence of the coffee beans; conversely, the heavier the roast, the more obvious the bitter taste.

As far as hand brewing is concerned, coffee beans of all roasting degrees are actually suitable for extraction, such as the light roast with fresh floral aroma - Front Street Fruit Tintin Cooperative, the medium light roast with tropical fruit flavor - Front Street Strawberry Candy, the medium roast with nutty milk aroma - Front Street Bird of Paradise, and the dark roast with caramel wood aroma - Front Street Pwn Gold Mandheling, are all perfect options for hand brewing coffee.

The world of coffee is very fascinating. Whether it is the aroma, coffee beans, origin, or hand brewing process, it is a science. Many people who love coffee will be obsessed with the magical drink "Pour over(V60) coffee" because everyone's brewed taste is different, so they can drink it in a unique and personal style. As long as you prepare filter paper, a filter cup and a pour-over pot, you can easily brew a cup of good coffee.

Step 1: Fold the filter paper inward along the edge to form a cone shape and place it into the filter cup.

Step 2: Rinse the filter paper with hot water. Just wet the filter paper completely to remove the smell of the filter paper. (Although there is only a little bit of water to rinse the filter paper, don’t forget to pour it out first before proceeding)

Step 3: Pour in the coffee powder, distribute it evenly, and make a small hole in the center with your little finger.

Step 4: Use 86~93℃ hot water, first pour 30g of hot water into the small hole, and then slowly spread it clockwise or counterclockwise to the surrounding coffee powder, until the water is collected when there is a slight dripping sensation, and steam for 30 seconds. (Steaming allows the coffee powder to absorb hot water and expel carbon dioxide, which helps in the extraction of aromatic substances later)

Step 5: When steaming, the coffee powder will expand and bulge (the fresher the coffee powder, the more bulging it will be). When the bulge is about to collapse, you can add hot water.

Step 6: When brewing by hand, use the middle as the center of the circle and slowly spread out in circles so that the hot water can spread horizontally in the coffee powder to extract rich coffee flavor. (When making circles by hand, do not rush directly to the outermost circle. This will cause the hot water to fall directly along the rim of the filter paper cup. Not only will the coffee not be extracted, but it will dilute the coffee concentration.)
Step 7: Before the end of hand brewing, you can raise the pot slightly, shake the pot between the coffee powder to increase the brewing pressure, and use hot water to pressurize and stir the coffee powder for the final extraction before the end.

Step 8: Collect the water and let the water in the filter paper drip slowly. When the coffee drips to your favorite powder-to-water ratio, you can pick it up and enjoy it.
