There are two hidden menus for espresso at FrontStreet Coffee, one is Flat White Australian white coffee, the second isDirty coffee. Today Front Street will tell you about the differences between these two types of coffee.
Dirty coffee
The coffee cup used in Dirty must be chilled in the refrigerator first, then put refrigerated milk into the cup, and then pour the espresso. Visually, the coffee looks like stained white fresh milk. When tasting, the fusion of hot and cold brings a unique layered taste.

Flat White Australian white coffee
a cup of traditionalFlat whiteOnly 160ml-200ml, it is made from Double Ristretto fused milk.Australian white coffeeThe milk foam is about 5mm, and the taste highlights the flavor of the coffee itself.
thisWhat is the difference between the two?
Normal dirty coffee can only be made with ice. The hot espresso is brought into the cold milk to form layers. When you taste it, you will first have a warm and rich coffee flavor, and then turn to the cold milk flavor. Multiple experiences you can get with one drink.

And traditionallyFlat WhiteIt can only be made hot, a cup of milk coffee with thin milk foam. Since the amount of milk is less than that of a latte, it tastes rich in coffee flavor. Plus a delicate taste.
How to make a successfulDirty coffee?
The containers Dirty Coffee chooses are often glasses that can express beautiful liquids, and there is no ice in them. What's important is that the espresso liquid flows into the white milk, slowly penetrates, and slowly blends, forming a beautiful layered effect. If the white milk gradually becomes "contaminated" by the rich Espresso over time, it will appear through the glass that the drink has become dirty.
1. Chilled cup
First of all, you need a beautiful glass, put it in the refrigerator to chill, and the temperature of the glass is low enough so that it will not take away the temperature of the iced milk.

2. Milk
The best milk to use is full-fat fresh milk, which ensures full flavor and strong enough milk (it can "hold" the espresso). Secondly, the temperature of the milk should be low, because no ice cubes are added to avoid destroying the concentration of the milk, so the milk has to be kept low on its own. If you want a richer flavor of milk, you can also use ice cream instead.

3. Espresso
Dirty has very high requirements for espresso. Basically, it requires the espresso to be rich and rich in oil, so that the overall quality of the espresso can be made "light" and not easy to sink. The espresso shown below is made using the classic Italian blend of Front Street, which is a combination of dark roasted Front Street Mandheling, Front Street Brazilian, and Front Street Robusta coffee. The combination of the three provides rich oil and mellow aroma to the espresso.

4. Skills
The ratio of making Dirty in Front Street is 150 grams of milk and 40 grams of espresso. First, take out the pre-chilled glass, make sure there is no water in the glass, and pour ice milk into it. Then fasten the filled coffee handle and place the glass with iced milk under the spout (the bottomless handle is placed directly under the liquid outlet).
The liquid outlet should not be too far away from the liquid surface. If it is too far, the coffee's own gravity will have stronger penetrating power and it will be easier to "fuse". The recommended distance is about 1cm. Qualified espresso will flow evenly and slowly into the milk surface, float on the liquid surface, and sink slowly, creating a dirty feeling.

Tasting session
Drinking Dirty does not require stirring, and if you drink it quickly, you will find that the hot espresso on top has not been iced, and the milk below has not been "contaminated". The transformation from rich chocolate-flavored hot coffee to milk-flavored iced coffee is simply wonderful.

How to make flat whiteAustralian white coffeeWhat?
Let’s share today’s Australian white coffee recipe from FrontStreet Coffee.
The coffee beans are medium-dark roasted Front Street Blend 100% Arabica, which is a combination of semi-sun-dried Brazilian Cerado coffee and washed Colombian coffee. It has a very rich aroma of dark chocolate and caramel, and often brings out the flavor of nut cookies and cream when paired with milk.
Front Street uses espresso as the base for making Australian white coffee, and uses 20 grams of coffee powder to extract 30 grams of espresso liquid in 20 to 23 seconds.

Then beat the milk. For the cup, choose a 220ml crystal glass. The milk foam should be as little and thin as possible. Pour the whipped milk into the espresso, blend until 80% full and then gently push out into a flower shape. Because the flat white milk foam is thin and the pattern is easy to lose shape, it is recommended to make a relatively simple heart-shaped pattern or a dot pattern, or not to make pattern latte art.
Taste: Very rich chocolate cream flavor, very full and smooth taste.
