Front Street Yirgacheffevoka Coffee Beans
Origin: Ethiopia
Grade classification: G1
Variety: Heirloom
Planting height: 1650m~1800m
Treatment method: Anaerobic solarization
Using anaerobic sun drying, the freshly picked coffee fruits are put into sealed barrels for low-temperature fermentation. In an anaerobic environment, the decomposition rate of pectin decreases, and the pH value decreases at a slower rate, prolonging the fermentation time of coffee, thereby developing more sweetness. The temperature must be strictly controlled in the entire anaerobic environment, with an average of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. After more than three days of anaerobic fermentation, the coffee cherries in the barrel are sun-dried. Finally, the excess parts of the dried coffee cherries are removed and the coffee beans are taken out.

Introduction to the production area
Yirgacheffe is located in the Gedeo region in southern Ethiopia. This region is famous for its jurisdiction over Yirgacheffe and Kochere. With an altitude of 1700-2100m, it is one of the highest altitude coffee producing areas in the world and is also synonymous with Ethiopian specialty coffee.

In the Rift Valley, represented by the Misty Valley, there is mist all year round, like spring all year round, with gentle breezes, cool and humid conditions. Thousands of coffee trees thrive and multiply, giving birth to Yirgacheffe's unique floral and fruity fragrance, which is ambiguously intertwined and unpredictable.

The coffee beans on Front Street come from Ethiopia and are processed by the Worka cooperative. Alemayehu Alako Farm is a member of the Woka Cooperative. Voka is located in the Yirgacheffe production area, at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,000 meters. The Voka Cooperative was established in 2005 and joined the famous Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU) that year. It is famous for its production of high-quality sun-dried Yirgacheffe. The Woka Cooperative has about 300 coffee farmers.
